Jessie-Lauren Pierce represents individuals and institutions in criminal and civil matters, with a focus on white collar criminal defense, internal investigations, regulatory enforcement, and complex civil litigation.
Jessie has represented clients in connection with investigations conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and state Attorneys General. She has experience in matters involving allegations of fraud, bribery, public corruption, market manipulation, collusion, and economic sanctions, as well as plaintiff and defense-side experience in complex commercial, securities, employment, Title IX, and sexual misconduct litigation.
Her pro bono work has involved assisting those seeking legal authorization in the United States, as well as matters assisting indigent criminal defendants and individuals bringing claims for civil rights violations, medical malpractice, and gender-based violence.
+ EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining the firm, Jessie worked as a litigation associate at McAllister Olivarius, LLP in the United Kingdom and at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan. Jessie also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Susan D. Wigenton of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Prior to law school, Jessie served as a Teach for America educator and earned her Master of Public Health at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA.
